How a group booking actually works

A group booking is several individual appointments at one address in one visit — not a single treatment shared between people. Everyone has their own private health assessment, their own consent, and can choose a different infusion to the person beside them.

That distinction matters on the day. A nurse can decline treatment for one person and proceed with the rest, and nobody has to explain to the room why. If someone is declined at screening they are not charged and do not count toward the group total.

Allow around 75 to 90 minutes per person from the nurse arriving to leaving, with sessions overlapping rather than running strictly end to end. Tell us the headcount and the window you have and we will tell you what fits.

Planning the space
One room where several people can sit or recline comfortably — a lounge works better than a kitchen
Somewhere quieter for the health assessments, which are private conversations
A hard surface for equipment, a power point, and a spot to hang IV bags above shoulder height
Bathroom access for everyone, and pets settled elsewhere
If it is a secure building or short-stay rental, lobby or lift access arranged in advance

Larger homes suit groups best. Suburbs like Carindale and New Farm come up often for exactly that reason.

Occasions we are asked about most

Each has a different constraint — usually timing.

Hens & bucks weekends

Usually booked for the morning after. Book the slot when you book the accommodation — Saturday availability is by arrangement and limited.

Wedding mornings

The tightest timeline we work to. It has to sit around hair and makeup, so tell us the whole run sheet and we will find the window rather than guess at one.

Sports teams

Post-event recovery, often the day after a game or race. Larger headcounts need more notice. See athletic recovery.

Birthdays & celebrations

The most flexible of the four, because the timing is usually yours to set rather than dictated by an event.

Group discounts

Terms and conditions: discounts apply to the standard per-person price of any IV infusion, for all participants booked in a single appointment at one address. All participants must complete a health assessment and be deemed suitable for treatment by the attending registered nurse; anyone declined at screening is not charged and does not count toward the group total. Discounts are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be combined with any other offer. Bookings are subject to nurse availability. Full terms are set out in our Terms of Service.

Treatments groups ask about

Everyone in the group is assessed individually and can choose differently.

Individual results may vary. All treatments are subject to health screening and nurse assessment, and IV therapy is not suitable for everyone. Cannulation can cause brief discomfort, and bruising or tenderness at the site; less commonly, vein irritation, light-headedness or an allergic reaction can occur. This is a wellness service, not a substitute for medical care, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Each participant should tell the nurse if they are pregnant or breastfeeding, take regular medication, or have reacted to an infusion before.

Questions group organisers ask

Can everyone have a different treatment?

Yes. Each person is assessed on their own and chooses their own infusion. The discount applies to the group regardless of what each person selects.

Can I book on someone else's behalf?

You can arrange and pay for the booking, but each person completes their own health assessment and consents to treatment themselves. Nobody can consent on another adult's behalf, which is worth flagging if you are organising this as a surprise.

Someone in the group has been drinking. Is that a problem?

Valid consent requires someone to understand what they are agreeing to. If a person is intoxicated at the time of the assessment, the nurse may decline to treat them. It is worth telling the group this when you book so it is not a surprise on the morning.

Can you come to a short-stay rental or hotel?

Yes, with the occupier's permission. Give us the building name and unit or room number and arrange lobby access if the building is secured. This is common in Fortitude Valley and Brisbane City.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you can. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with Saturday by appointment and limited availability — and weekend-adjacent occasions are exactly when groups want us.

Send everyone in the group the preparation guide beforehand — it covers what to wear, what to eat and what the nurse will ask.

Planning something for a group?
